A message from our CEO

Monjurul Alam is an accomplished registered nurse specializing in intensive care at the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. A dedicated community leader, he serves as the CEO of Thrive Australia Incorporated, supporting first-generation migrants in their transition to Australian society. Monjurul is an active volunteer, contributing to Rotary and serving as a Justice of the Peace. He is also involved with the Pasadena Community Centre and Mitchell Park Cricket Club. A participant in the Governor's Leadership Foundation Program, Monjurul resides in Adelaide with his wife, passionately fostering community spirit and inclusivity.
I am passionate about Thrive Australia Incorporated because I understand the challenges first-generation migrants face in adapting to a new culture and environment. Having moved to Australia in 2009, I experienced these challenges firsthand. My dedication to supporting others stems from a desire to give back and ensure that new migrants feel welcomed and included. I believe that a diverse and inclusive Australia benefits everyone, fostering a richer, more vibrant community. I invite you to join me in this mission to help build a society where everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully. Let's make a difference together.
